Cult Culture Sect 1

Week One here at the Anti-Meme is kicking off with an in-depth account of cult mentality. Throughout the week we'll be exposing a few sides of the internet you may not have visited previously.

It is our view here that the oft misguided act of living leads to the formation of a false belief and faith structure. We act merely to act and to silence the ever nagging egoistic triad. In doing so we implicitly form our own Gods in all their mal-formed dementia.

The common mans rituals are usually not nearly as well-defined or entertaining as the examples we provide for your perusal. As such these moments littering the universal unconscious mind scape are to be at once cherished, feared and reveled within.

The convictions errant in these actions alone are so unique as to warrant some admiration or at least

speculation. The one common thread
among these groupings is that all of these individuals have stepped over some line. A place where the normal everyday reality is so mixed with fantasy as to form wonder and a sense of longing for such devotion.

Whether we are to believe them or not their passion is the mark they leave. It is my sincere hope that providing this imagery may provide an impulse of self-awareness. I'm probably over-reaching here but in essence is that not the point entirely? So dear reader have you been living a lie? Have you now ascribed to a faith just as silly but not nearly as impressive? It is time to awake!
